Shannon Olsson
Global Director, the echo network
“ECOBARI is the perfect example of echo network’s philosophy to build communities of practice by bringing in multiple stakeholders to build resilient agrocecological systems. Such collaborations foster resilience which is the key to our shared future and the most essential component for sustainable development”.
Dr. Erach Bharucha
Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER)
“The thread of Ecosystem-based Adaptation concepts woven into a web of sustainable actions has become a catalyst that I now use in education for sustainable development. The unique discussions in ECOBARI has led to many organic outcomes, one of which has led me to write a Manual for School Teachers on Climate Action”.
Jasmer Dhingra
Senior Programme Manager, IDH
“The concept of ecosystem-based adaptation deeply resonates with IDH’s ‘Production-Protection-lnclusion or PPI’ approach to landscape development. In a globally connected world, the interdependency of people, nature and economy must be invested on further which is why as a part of ECOBARI, IDH is keen to collaborate with like-minded stakeholders to build resilience in agri communities”.
